Steven "Bubba" Thomas was born on April 6, 1981 to the parentage of Charles Logan and the late Patricia Ann Thomas. He departed this earthly life on October 1, 2023. Bubba was baptized at an early age by the late Dr. Richard Rayborn, Sr. at the Christian Assembly Full Gospel Church. He attended St. Amant High School and then furthered his education in McKinnley, Texas. He was employed at Hope Haven Marble & Granite in Gonzales.

Bubba was a very outspoken person. He would say what he had to say and that was it. If you didn't like it, he kindly kicked you out the yard. He was the life of any occasion, and everyone knew his favorite saying, "Uncle Bubba loves the kids." His smile and laughter would brighten up your darkest day. He was definitely a wonderful soul who was simply a joy to be around. The most loyal person you would ever meet. Bubba will be missed by all.

On April 21, 2007, he married Demetrious Moses and together they had 3 wonderful children; Zacheus, Amaria, and Naquille.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife of 16 years, Demetrious, 3 children; Zacheus and fiancé Lexus, Amaria, and Naquille, 2 grandchildren; Luna Reine and Ivy Elaine, his father Charles Logan, 1 sister Brenda Thomas Morris(Sean), one brother, Vernon Thomas, Mother-In-Law Evangelist Linda Perkins, 2 Father-in Laws; Lawrence Perkins and Stanley Moses, 6 sister-in-laws; Rometrious(Marquette) Daigle, Latoya Johnson, Deidra(Taron) Johnson, Shaqwana(Richard) Cooper Jr., Brenda Williams- Thomas and Anna Moses, 4 brother-in laws; Stanley(Patrice) Johnson, Torey(Janice) Johnson, Travis (Ashley) Johnson, and Donald (Tish) Howard Jr., 2 devoted uncles; Lionel Thomas and Anthony Logan, 3 aunts; Barbara(Perry) Castell, Thelma Darville, and Bernice Washington, extended family ; Ronnie Mona, Ryan, and Melissa Rodrigue, god-father Renaldo "Hip C" Claiborne, 1 god-sister Sheila Butler, 8 god-children; Tyriell Jacobs, Keyanna Lomas, Darnell Thomas, A'sen Lanus, Jordan Tillotson, D'ona Johnson, and Sanaija Cooper, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Bubba was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Thomas, maternal and paternal grandparents, brother-in law Donavin Johnson and other relatives and friends.
