Albert Lee Payne was born on January 4, 1963 to the late Hazel Glover Payne and Samuel Payne Sr. He departed this life on Thursday November 3, 2022 at his home in Gonzales, Louisiana.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 2 daughters; Abby and Amberly Bennett, mother of his children, Veronica Bennett of Geismar, 1 son, 1 granddaughter, 2 grandsons, a devoted friend Mary Ann Robvais, who took care of him as a caretaker, a friend Mr. Juan Chavez who is a pottery maker on Airline Hwy, 3 sisters; Sammie Boudreaux(late Noil Boudreaux) Betty Payne West ( Jeremiah Henry) of Prairieville, LA, and Faye Daniel (Drew) of Lake Charles, LA, 3 brothers; Gary Payne (Angela Miles) of Geismar, LA, Samuel Payne ( Stacy Lomas ) of Gonzales, LA, Wilbert Payne (Latisha Jackson) of Prairieville, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, brothers, niece, nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
