Albert Raby, 89, native of St. Francisville and resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away on November 15, 2022 at the Baton Rouge General Ascension hospital in Prairieville, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of "69" years, Ceola Cooper Raby. Three sons, Alvin "Tom" (Marilyn) of Gonzales; Anthony Ray of Baton Rouge, and Calvin of Gonzales. Three daughters, Dr. Joyce Elaine (Pastor Bruce Williams) of Gretna, Louisiana, Carol "Cal-Ann" (Pastor Kelvin W. Jackson) of Gonzales, and Minister Joann "Jo" of Prairieville. A granddaughter who was born and reared in his house, Latoya (Darnell Guillard) of Kenner, and Dorothy Raby (the Widow of his first born son, Johnnie, Sr., who passed away Dec. 18, 2021. Twenty-six Grand-children, Forty-Eight Great-Grandchildren, and Sixteen Great-Great Grandchildren. Two sisters, Eleanor Raby Stone, and Virginia Raby Scott (Albert) all of Baton Rouge. Three Sisters-In-Law, Lucille Holt Raby of Baton Rouge, and The Coopers, "As he would call them, Oena "Noma" Cooper Pitcher and Inez Cooper Christy.
