Alverdia Duplush ended her sojourn on Earth and quietly began her journey home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 19, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. She was 93 and resided in Gonzales, LA. She was a member of First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Geismar, LA.
She is survived by 3 sons and 5 daughters: Lawrence, Thomas Jr., and Michael; Patsy Ricks, Loretta Bailey, Diana (Donald) Aikens, Terry (Wallace) Washington, Wanda Williams and additional family and friends.
Visitation on Monday, November 26 th , 2018 at 9:00a.m. - 11:00a.m., followed by religious services at First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 11453 LA-73, Geismar, LA 70737.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
