Obituary

Anissa Latrelle Spriggs Favorite entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2023 at the age of 33. She was a native of Darrow, LA and Vacherie, LA. She attended and was baptized by Rev. Richard Rayborn Sr. at Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was a faithful, loving, caring, dedicated servant, now under the leadership of Pastor Sylvia Payton. Anissa was a graduate of East Ascension High School class of 2009 of Gonzales, LA.

Anissa was the daughter of Michael and Melessia Favorite. The sister of Johnathan Spriggs and Michael Favorite Jr. The granddaughter of the late Elouise Spriggs of Darrow, LA and Ruth Favorite of Vacherie, LA. She leaves to cherish her memories one neice Mariah Beckett; God children Landon Spriggs and Marichelle Spriggs Jr.; aunts, Beverly Spriggs Joseph, Myshika Spriggs, Betty Dumas, Dorean Favorite, and Charlene Guillard; uncles Jerome Favorite, Tyrone Spriggs, Bryant Spriggs, Melvin Dumas, Jericho Jospeh, Joe Guillard, Joe Spriggs, Rapheal Spriggs and Christopher Spriggs; great aunt Alma Steward and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Anissa was preceded in death by her grandmothers Elouise Spriggs and Ruth Favorite; great aunts Golina Prestly, Ida Coco, Lucille Arceneaux and Almada Randall; aunts Doris Favorite, Rosemary Simoneaux, cousins; Shenika Coco and Tadamika Simoneaux.

Anissa was a very independent family-oriented person. A God filling, welcoming, comforting spirit whose smile lights up a room. She was a strong, but kind spirit that would help someone in need despite her own needs. If it was only to talk she would be there with open arms because brightening up your day, brightens up her day. Anissa would always say take it one day at a time, do what you can do, do your best, and leave it to God. Anissa was very loved, still very loved, and will be missed very greatly.
