On August 10, 2023, Anna Marie Richard Kennard passed away peacefully at the age of 67. Anna was the biological Mother of four children. However, many people considered Anna as their surrogate mother.

When Anna's children were young she instilled self-reliance, integrity, and most of all the importance of family. Anna was an exceptional mother, she cared deeply for her family and neighbors. She did not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. She always ensured that every child who crossed her threshold was safe healthy and happy.

Anna leaves to cherish her memories her four children LaRonda(Ronald)Carter, Shimiria Kennard, Shanette(Pauline)Kennard, LaTanya(Blake)Kennard, and one God Son Chad Ursin. She is also survived by four siblings Floyd Richard, Juanita Richard, Lloyd Richard, and Deborah Richard. Anna was the grandmother of 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Anna shared her life with her devoted Sister Dianne Ursin, devoted cousin Penny Wilson, and loyal friends Marilyn Duhe and Louella Charles.

She is proceeded in death by her father Wilfred Richard, mother Mary Louise Lockwood Richard, brother Bernard Richard, and neice Shelita Richard.
