Carl "Cowboy" V. Favorite, was born September 28, 1955, to Amos, Sr., and Rosemary J. Favorite.  He transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, LA; at the age of 67.

Carl was educated in the Ascension Parish School system.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at the First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Irvin Briley, Jr.

Carl enjoyed working with his hands.  He worked as a pipefitter and welder in several plants throughout the United States, even worked in Africa.

He enjoyed fishing, watching television, whether it was the news, sports, or movies; his favorite movie was "The Godfather of Harlem".  He loved his wife, mother, daughter and family and special relationship he had with his brother Donald.

Carl was preceded in death by his father Amos Favorite, Sr.,

He leaves to cherish his life his devoted wife - Donna B. Favorite, his loving mother - Rosemary J. favorite, his daughter –Ashley (Grayling) Bethancourt, brothers: Amos, Jr.; (Deloris), Donald (Audrey) Favorite, Johnny Darville, Mitchel (Rose) Johnson Sisters: Barbara "Malaika" (Anthony) Kellman, Patricia "Yoruba", Sharon "Tamu", Carolyn Favorite, Mona Lisa (Felton) Hill, Marie (Lawrence) Perkins, four step children: Allen, Bruce, Christopher, and A'Donna Richardson, seven grandchildren, his mother-in-law, Gladys V. Brown, two brothers- in- law, Greg and Kevin (Dedorah) Brown. Two sisters-in law; Avis B. Payne and Yolanda Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives in friends.
