The late Charles Patterson was born August 10, 1955 in New Orleans, LA to the late Alfred and Odeal Patterson, Sr. Charles was baptized at an early age. Charles passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 12:47 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital surrounded by his family.

Charles was a native of Convent, Louisiana and a resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. Charles served in the United States Army. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He will always be remembered by his smile, stories and jokes he would tell in his own way.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one sister, Linda George (Albert), Chauvin, L a , one brother, Lynn Patterson of Prairieville, LA , ; one sister-in-law, Doris Patterson of Prairieville, LA ; one brother-in-law, Robert Jackson of Amite, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews. Also to cherish his memor ies are: two uncles, Leroy Gray of Kenner, LA , Haze Gray of Galvez, La .  and close friends: Willie York, Willie Stewart, Chris Nakdi and Leon Bailey.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Odeal Patterson, Sr., three brothers: Alfred, Jr. Michael, and Rickey Patterson; two sisters: Pearl Patterson and Catherine Jackson; two nephews: Fred Wayne and Ricky Patterson, one niece: Vicky Patterson; grandparents : Hillary Patterson Sr. and Angelina Goday ; Robert and Odeal Gray, and one brother-in-law, Ruben Darren Stephens, Sr.
