Christine Bailey Marcell was born on September 17, 1964, in Los Angeles, California to Gladys Maxine Robinson and Woodrow Edward Bailey SR. She transitioned on March 25, 2025. She was a graduate of Dorsey HS in Los Angeles, California. Chris relocated to Gonzales, LA in 1988 to live with her mother.
In 1990, Chris married Glen Marcell. Their union was blessed with 35 years of marriage and two children: Grant Christopher Marcell and Gabrielle Christian Marcell. She was baptized at an early age and attended church with her husband until she fell ill. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed seeing her children grow up. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband: Glen Marcell (Geismar, LA); two children: Grant Christopher Marcell (Fort Worth, Texas, fiancé' Shantrell Lenford); Gabrielle Christian Marcell (Geismar, LA); two brothers: Woodrow Edward Bailey JR (Los Angeles, CA, wife: Tahnda Bailey); and Eric Bailey (Los Angeles, CA, wife: Lanitra Bailey); one sister: Maxine Bailey (Fremont, CA); one granddaughter: Cazaria Chanel Marcell (Ft. Worth, TX); two uncles: Lawrence Washington (Gonzales, LA) and Frank Foggan (New Roads, LA); mother-in-law: Gloria Marcell; sister-in-law: Vinnie Marcell and a brother-in-law: Jerome Marcell (all in Geismar, LA); two godchildren: Jordan Marcell, (Brooklyn, New York); and Aaliyah Lewis, (Geismar, LA); several nieces and nephews: Skylarr Elizabeth Phillips (Escondido, CA, husband: Michael Phillips); Te'Von Delano Mitchell (Terrell, TX, wife: Ambibola Mitchell); Spencer Edward Bailey (Inglewood, CA); Christina Maxine Bailey (Mansfield, TX, fiancé: LaTravian Haggerty); Cameron Zachery Bailey (Los Angeles, CA); She leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, great nephews, relatives and friends who will cherish her memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a son: Michael Wayne Bradford JR (Los Angeles, CA).
