Our beloved Daisy Lee Matthews Edwards was born on September 25, 1941 to the union of the late Charlie and Amelia Matthews. She was baptized at an early age at Little Zion Baptist Church in Lakeland, LA and later joined I Walk By Faith Ministry in Gonzales, LA under the leadership of Pastor Deidra Rayborn Carter.


The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.


In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
