Daniel Morgan III, age 49, a native of Plaquemine and a resident of Geismar passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at home. Visitation from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church, 58210 Plaquemine St., Plaquemine, LA 70764; Rev. Gregory Coates officiating. Burial at Little Zion Church Cemetery.

Survived by his wife Samantha J. Morgan; 3 daughters, Antionette, Dantrell, and Lois Ann; 6 grandchildren; father, Daniel Morgan Jr.; 2 sisters, Lisa and Angela Morgan; 1 brother, Andrew Morgan; and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
