A native of Donaldsonville, La. and native of Darrow, La., she died on July 4, 2012. She was 63, a housewife and retired seamstress with Neese Industries. A service will be held at True Light Worship Center on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Adrien Claiborne. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Percy Allen Kelson; daughters, Kim Kelson Holmes, Kandice Kelson, Karen Kelson and Kaya Kelson; sisters, Lucille Stevenson, Jessie Mae Blanchard, Gayle Louise Stevenson, Rev. Elaine Stevenson Cummings and Mary Ann Williams; brothers, Charles Stevenson and Michael Stevenson; and fourteen grandchildren. Preceded in death by Wilson and Agnes Stevenson. She graduated from Lowery High School and attended Southern University
