Dorothy L. Gaddis, 69, a native of Orange, Texas and a resident of Prairieville, Louisiana passed away July 26, 2020 at The Crossing at Clarity in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was very cheerful and a loving person to everyone she met and touched the hearts of many who knew her.

Peewee leaves to cherish precious memories two brothers, James P Gaddis and Earl L. Gaddis; two devoted sister in laws, Lorraine G. Glover and Debra Simmons all of Prairieville, Louisiana; one aunt, Addie Lucas of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by Mother, Dorothy M. Gaddis; Father, Jimmy Gaddis; Brother, Donald R. Gaddis Sr.; Sister, Alice Gaddis; Grandparents, Jimmy Gaddis and Ethel Cocoa; Aunt, Julie M. Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Saturday August 1, 2020 9:00am-11:00am at Lawson & Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home. Service will begin at 11:00am, Rev. Hase Gray Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Community Cemetery Prairieville, LA.

We the Family of Dorothy Gaddis are deeply appreciative for every act of kindness and all expressions of love and concern shown during our loved one's illness and death.
