Dorothy Mae Hall was born on February 13, 1940 to the late Udell Griffen and Stevenson D. Pullet in New Orleans, LA. She was a resident of Gonzales, LA. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Gonzales Healthcare Center.

Dorothy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Little Zion Baptist Church in Gonzales, LA by the late Reverend A.L. Smith. She was a member of The Christian Assembly Full Gospel Church, pastored by Bishop Dr. Richard Rayborn, Jr.

In 1957, Dorothy graduated from Prairieville High School. Dorothy was married to the late Edward Hall Jr. on June 17, 1957. Dorothy was known to many and never met a stranger. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her life was shaped by her selfless commitment to others. She was known throughout Ascension Parish for her unwavering volunteer work. She volunteered at the Fellowship Center, The Salvation Army, her church, and a magnitude of community events. Dorothy leaves to cherish her precious memory, (3) sons, Matthew (Kathy) Hall, Prairieville, Conrad (Melanie) Hall, Paul (Marvelous) Hall, all of Gonzales. (8) grandchildren, Ashley (Joshua) White, Lacie, Chelsea, Christin, and Alexee Hall, Jay Gipson, Craig Anderson Jr., and Damian (Trinity) Banner. (3) sisters-in-law, Julia (Ernest) Stephens, Thelma and Rosa "Nell" Hall. She leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Hall Jr., her parents Udell Griffen and Stevenson D. Pullet, two sons, Charles and Wade Hall.
