Dorothy Mae Thompson died at her home on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the age of 63. She was a member of the First Pilgrim- Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Irvin Briley Jr, where she was a faithful member of the senior choir and the Community Sisterhood until her death. She graduated from Kennedy Memorial High School class of 1968. She recently retired from the New Orleans International Airport Aviation Board and was a loyal dedicated employee for 30 years. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at First Pilgrim-Calvary Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 am until religious service at 11:00 am conducted by Rev.Irvin Briley Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories, Two sisters; Bessie (John)White, Houston TX, Marilyn Rowe, Dutchtown LA, Three brothers; Clarence (Wanda)Thompson, Walter (Trina)Thompson, Dutchtown LA, and Charles (Gwen)Thompson of Forth Worth TX. One sister-in-law, Mary Thompson, Houston, TX, Three aunts; Albertha Thompson, Gonzales, La, Ruby Scott, Geismar, La, and Ida Davis, Carville, La. One Uncle; Archie Ellis, Avondale, La. Close Family Friends; Evelyn Theard, New Orleans, La, and Mr. & Mrs. Harold L. White, Houston,TX. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and a vast number of cousins, friends, co-workers, and classmates. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Edna Thompson, Two Brothers, Wilbert and Lionel Thompson, Two Sister-In-Law's, Brenda S. Thompson and Brenda A.
