Ellen Norah Wilson, affectionately known as "Madea", was born in Burnside, Louisiana on September 07, 1931 to the late John Norah and Lutisha William. On Thursday, January 16,2014 at approximately 9:00 am, God sent his angels that quietly carried Madea to heaven. madea was married to the late Isiah Wilson Jr. To this union nine (9) children were reared. Madea was baptized at an early age and spent her life serving the lord. She joined Second Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Sorrento,La where she served as a choir member, soloist, prayer warrior, and deaconess.

Madea leaves to cherish her life and legacy her children; Barbara Wilson Ellis (barry), Thelma Darvile, Monique Wilson Patin (Donald), Herman Wilson Sr, Calvin Wilson Sr.(Faye), and Lionel Wilson Sr.(Debra); Twenty-seven (27) Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces,nephews,other family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Isiah Wilson Jr, Three (3)children; Isiah Wilson III, Melvin Wilson, and Ruby Lawson. Her parents, Three (3) Brothers, Four (4) Sisters, One (1) Grandchild, and Two (2) Great Grandchildren.
