Mr. Elvin Roy York, 62, affectionately called, "Roy," resident of Prairieville, was born on July 06, 1958. Roy passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake-Ascension in Gonzales, LA.

Roy is Survived by and leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife, Mary Owens York, 1 son, Elvin "Jeroid" York, daughters; Ebony Parker, Shemetris Stokes, and Sonia York, 2 step-daughters; Tiffany Owens and Teressa Owens, 14 grand-children and 1 great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Areluas and Nellie York and brother Elton York.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
