Emile Franklin Jr. was born October 30, 1956 in New Orleans, La. to Rosemary Green Franklin and Emile Franklin Sr. He went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2014. Viewing will be at 10:30 am until religious service beginning at 12 Noon, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Darrow, La. Rev. Earl Bell officiating. He is survived by his parents, Rosemary and Emile Franklin Sr. (Los Angeles, CA); sister, Ms. Jerry Arnold; niece,Tierney Arnold; nephew, Joshuae Arnold; great nephew, Xavier Arnold-Jones (Chino Hills, CA); cousins, Annie, Ruby, Gail and Dale Cornish that were raised as his siblings; nieces, Kimberley (Terrance) Dozier Stewart, Trachelle Cornish, Laquita (Jeremy)Hebert and Amber (Kenny) Cornish Wagner; nephew, Edward (Muriel) Dozier Jr.; great nieces and nephews who were very dear to him, Cabryn, Conner and Sydney Cornish, Carson, Carlee and Corbin Davis, Jada, Kelsey and Jeremy Hebert; aunts and uncle, Bryant and Ethel Hebert (Los Angeles, CA) and Bonnie Mims (New Orleans, La.). He is also survied by a host of cousins, friends and caregivers at COEA Day program for adults with disabilities. He was preceded in death by his great aunt, Mary Cornish who raised him, brother Chauncey Franklin, maternal grandmother, Earline McCary, Paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lillian Franklin and cousins Ronald and Donald Cornish. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
