On Monday, July 27th, 2020, Erika Lynette Miles gained her wings to enter heaven. She was the first born on May 9th, 1976 to LeAndrew Miles Jr. and Leaster Leggett-Miles of Gonzales, LA.

She treasured her family and children embracing them every moment she could. She especially loved her role as G-ma as she would call it. She had an upbeat and dynamic personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. She was very caring and selfless among others and will be deeply missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Two children: Gregory Lewis (Houston, TX.), Eriel Miles (Fiance Roderick Stephens)(Prairieville,LA), Grandson: Aycsen Miles, Parents: LeAndrew Miles Jr.(Gonzales, LA), Leaster Leggett-Miles (Gonzales,LA); Siblings: LeAndrew Miles III (Gonzales, LA),Cynthia Miles (Baton Rouge, LA), Longtime friend and companion: Renaldo Batiste and a plethora of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Erika was preceded in death by her grandparents: Johnson and Eleanor Leggett Sr.; two aunts: Sherry D. Butler and Donna M. Leggett; one uncle: Johnson Leggett Jr .
