Florzel Williams, lovingly known as Sue, was born on July 15, 1934 in Weyanoke, LA to her parents Kilbert Gordon, Sr. and Olivia Hampton Gordon. In her adulthood, she moved to the New Orleans area and married Abraham Williams.

Sue retired from Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA in 1995 after serving in the Labor and Delivery Unit for over 30 years.

Sue spent her latter years as devoted member of the Do Right Full Gospel Baptist Church and served as an Usher until she fell ill. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her family. Sue loved animals and held a strong bond with her beloved dog, Tyson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter Brenda Williams, granddaughters Vontrice Perkins and Vanessa Thomas, and great granddaughter DeAsia Bell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Sue is preceded in death by 14 siblings, her parents Kilbert and Olivia Gordon, husband Abraham Williams, godchild Rona Bridges and best friend Earline Bowser.
