Fred Taylor, 75, of Prairieville, LA, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
Born in Chicago, Fred honorably served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1969. He dedicated 33 years to the United States Postal Service, retiring in 2004 as a Supervisor.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Rutha Hampton, Archie Taylor Sr., and James Bynum, as well as five siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn Taylor; daughters; and grandchildren.
