Gary Hendricks Jr., affectionately known as "BUBBIE",  was born June 4, 1967 to the union of Gary Hendricks Sr. and Claire Mae Hendricks. While in the comfort of his home on June 12, 2017, he had a talk with his Savior and entered in to his eternal home.

Gary accepted Christ at an early age and joined New St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Richard Rayborn, Sr.  He continued his spiritual growth under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Stephens at the New St. John Fellowship Church.

Gary leaves a legacy to be cherished by his wife of 22 years, Patrice Hendricks; (3) children Jasmine Sterling, Jermone Hendricks and LeJerlme Brock Sr. (Alieen); his mother Claire Hendricks; a brother Anthony Hendricks, Sr. (Ronterri), a sister Latrice Chantel Hendricks all of Gonzales, LA.; mother-in-Law Lisa Sterling; sister-in-law Shonda Sterling all of Baton Rouge, LA.; (2) brother-in-law Alvin Ray Sterling and Gary Sims (LaShonda) of Prairieville; (6) aunts Mable Reed, Etta Jackson (Richard), Elaine Stevens (Leroy), Janice Hendricks, Hestell Hendricks, Doris Hendricks; (2) uncles Lon V Bedney Sr. (Catherine), Apostle Leroy Thompson (Carolyn); (2) adopted sisters Renee R. Colbert (Andre) and Crystal Goodlow (Joseph); (4) grandchildren Nevaeh Hendricks, Aiden Ruffin, Jylynn Brocks and LeJerlme Brocks Jr. ; (2) Godchildren Christopher J. Hendricks and Anaya Hendricks; Godmother Linda Nash and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Gary Hendricks Sr.; Godfather Paul Hendricks, a son Malachi Micah, his grandparents Lon V. and Dorothy Bedney, Sr. and Alphonse Hendricks Sr. and Mae J Hendricks-Moses.
