Geneva "Gen" Brown Marshall, 81, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, gained her wings on Monday, June 1, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and most of all volunteering at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales, Louisiana.   Walk through visitation will be at 10:00am – 11:00am on Friday, June 5, 2020 at New Light Baptist Church 18515 Hoo Shoo Too Road Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70817.  Graveside service will be officiated by Reverend L. Roy Barnes at Richardson Garden of Memory located at 18730 Old Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809.  She is survived by her children Adrian Dale Marshall, Roslyn Sheppard (Stanley), Deselyn Marshall and Clifton Marshall; her grandchildren Gregory Sheppard (Dolita), Derek Marshall, Ashli Marshall, Robin Marshall,  Byron Sheppard (Alicia), DeMarcus Jones, Ke'Shaun Marshall, Austin Milan, Dylan Marshall and Clifton Marshall Jr.; eight great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
