George "Papa George Williams, age 93, departed this life on July 4, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. George was a retired cement finisher, a job that he loved doing for over 50 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories and loving legacy, 3 Sons; Henny, Keith, and David Williams, 4 Daughters;Mary Jones, Earline Brown, Dianne Wallace, and Evelina Williams, 1 stepson Damon, 4 sisters and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sons, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
