Gustava Cushenberry Simmons, also known Gus, a native of Gonzales, LA passed away on Sat. Jan. 25, 2014 at her home. She was 85. She is survived by her children Loretta Vessel, Louis Simmons, Gregory Simmons, Leroy Cushenberry, Lilshalle Rome and Rolshalle Simmons; 9 remaining siblings and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren.
