Hazel Williams Wilson, age 95, passed away peacefully Monday, September 5, 2016, at her home in Sunshine, LA. She was born in Plaquemine, LA and resided in Sunshine, LA until her death. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, a compassionate and loving friend to all who knew her. She worked diligently in her church as an usher until failing health. Hazel entered into holy matrimony with the late Clarence Wilson, Sr. of Sunshine, LA.
They were blessed with one daughter; Connie Mae Wilson White, five sons; Clarence Wilson, Jr. (Pearl), Donald Wilson (Bertresia); the late Lawrence Wilson, Sr. (Barbara Ann), Duress Wilson, and Grant Lee Wilson; 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, 3 Godchildren; Geraldine Davis, Charles Bobo Jr. and Sheleter Rider, of whom all she leaves to cherish her precious memories and life long legacy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lee Ethel and George Williams, husband, one sister, one brother, one son, two grandsons; Philip White, Jr. and Keron Wilson, two granddaughters; Dionne White and Rhonda Nell White Pierson and son-in-law Phillip White, Sr.
