Isaac Daniel Smith was born on January 31, 1945 to the late Rev. Robert Smith, Sr. and the late Roseanna Lewis Smith. 72 years later he departed this life on November 21, 2017 at Gonzales Healthcare Center.

Isaac worked for the Ormet Corporation for many years. Later, he became self-employed as a Cement Finisher. Isaac also had love for and was an avid baseball player.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife Jackie Smith. His children: Cheryl Joseph(Dorwin), Darren Smith, Deidre Williams (Randy), Miyoshi Joshua(Coreon), Shanet Smith, Mario Smith, and Dominique Brown. His step-children: Brandon Glover, Phyllis Glover, and LaQuincia Glover. Brothers: Bobby Smith, Donald Smith, and Elliot Smith. Sisters: Rev. Mary Brooks and Doris Green. His mother-in-law Aldonia Jackson. Brother-in-laws: Michael Glover, Tyrone Glover(Tanya), Ricky Glover(Jessica), and Louis Simmons. 23 grandchildren, a host of neices, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers; Robert Smith Jr. and Jimmy Smith

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
