James Paulet Gaddis, age 66, a native of Orange, Texas and a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on October 22, 2020 at his home in Prairieville, LA.

James was born on November 5, 1953 to the union of the late Jimmie Gaddis and Dorothy Mae Smith Gaddis of Orange, Texas. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.

James leaves to cherish his loving memories, one brother, Earl L. Gaddis, two devoted sister- in- laws; Lorraine Gaddis-Glover and Debra Simmons, all of Prairieville, LA, one aunt Addie Lucas of Baton Rouge, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

James was precede in death by his mother and father, Jimmie and Dorothy Mae Gaddis, one brother, Donald R. Gaddis Sr., two sisters, Dorothy Lee Gaddis and Alice Gaddis, grandparents Jimmie Gaddis and Ethel CoCo, one aunt Julie M. Stewart and best friend Willie Stone Sr.
