Joan Devonia Marcell Lewis (Ma) of Geismar, Louisiana passed away peacefully at the age of 55 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 27, 2014. She is the daughter of the late Reverend John Marcell and Gloria Marcell.

She is survived by her mother Gloria Marcell, (2) Sons Tony (LaKeisha)Lewis, and Alvin (Nichole) Lewis, (2) Daughters, LaRhonda Kiara Marcell (Kentrell Thompson), and Ashley Marcell.

Visitation is on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home, 511 W. Tobey Ave. Gonzales, Louisiana from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and the final viewing is on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 9:00am until service time at 11:00am at First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 11453 Highway 73 Geismar, La. Pastor Irvin Briley Jr. officiating
