John Dale Clark was born July 22, 1960 to the union of the late Mr. Archille Clark Sr. and the late Mrs. Dora Jackson Clark.. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was a 1981 graduate of East Ascension High School. He was an owner-operator for E. M. Way Inc. of Magnolia, Delaware.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Clark, Gonzales, La.; 3 daughters, LaShawnda Cole, Colorado Springs, Co., Leondra (Shawn) Hills, Prairieville, La. and Shimere (Kendarious) Braxton, Gonzales, La.; 7 sisters, Fannie (Booker) Sharper, Carrie Watis, Mary Lily (Edward) Carter, Dora Lunkin, Ruth (Joseph) Melancon, Ruby (Herman) Duckett and Ellen (Wayne) Perkins; 3 brothers, Archille (Betty), Cornelius (Burnedette) and Henderson (Juanita) Clark; 9 grandchildren, Serena, Travis, Kristjahn, Shawn Jr., Thomas, Kendarious Jr., Madison, Dievas and Aaliyah; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal and fraternal grandparents; sisters, Odeal Cooper, Sarah Miller, and Linda Johnson; brothers, Ben, Phillip, Clarence and Ernest Clark; granddaughter, Allyssia Sharper and son-in-law, Thomas Cole Sr.
