Jonathan M. Carter, Sr. was born November 15, 1984 to the parentage of Deidre R. Carter and Samuel Carter. On Friday, October 23, 2026, his spirit ascended to be with the Lord.

Jonathan was baptized into God’s family at an early age, and was a faithful member of I Walk By Faith Ministry. He loved uplifting the youth, assisting the elderly, and volunteered to do whatever was needed for the church. Jonathan will always be remembered for his bright smile, his warm embrace, and his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. He was a loving father, brother, son, and friend, and he shall be greatly missed.

Jonathan leaves to cherish his precious memories his children, Hallie Carter, Jaycee Carter, Jonathan M. Carter, Jr. and Jaxon Carter; his parents, Deidre R. Carter and Samuel Carter; his brother, Jarvis (Latoya) Carter; his grandmother, Eartha L. Rayborn; his aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
