A Time to be Born
Julia Lee was born on July 04, 1941 to the late Mack & Felecia Larose Jordan. She was the youngest of 7 children. For over seventy-years she celebrated her birthday with her oldest sister "Flo"  who was also born on the 4th of July.
She accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of 10, and was baptized by Rev. Alfred Johnson on August 31, 1951 at Pilgrim Baptist Church, Reserve, LA.
Later she moved to Hillaryville, LA in 1963 and join the Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church in 1964 where she faithfully served as Secretary of the Ushers and a dutiful church member. Julia loved to coordinate the Ushers and made sure cards would go out as needed. Psalms84:10-11

A Time to love
Julia was united in Holy Matrimony to the Late Leonard C Irvin Sr. on August 31, 1963for 59 years from this union they were blessed with three children.

A Time to Reflect
Julia was a homemaker and loved to take care of her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cleaning, watching the Saints, LSU and Soap Operas or as she would say "her stories".  She was always busy doing something around the house. She was the first Lady of Home Improvements before there was an HGTV.
She believed in preparing in advance, church, birthdays, holidays, gatherings and family meals.
Although, she could no longer speak, she would still pick up the phone and call and you knew to respond quickly. She mastered written and hand gestures.
