Obituary

Juliette Davis Williams, retired Nursing Assistant, transitioned into eternal rest on June 23, 2015, in Acworth, GA, her residence for the last 16 months. A native of St. Francisville and a resident of Baton Rouge for more than 34 years. She was 79. Daughter of the late Rev. Samuel and late Mary Raby Davis. Divorced wife of the late Clyde L. Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ex Husband, and 11 siblings one of whom was her twin brother, Julius. She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved children: Shelia Williams- Thompson (her caregiver), Doreen W. Smith, David L. Williams, and Clyde Leroy (Rose) Williams. 12 devoted grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Siblings: Rev. Robert (Deborah)Davis, Rev. Richard (Melissa) Davis, Pearl D. Gilmore of Carson, CA. and Joyce D. Green of Seattle,WA. THREE SISTERS-IN-LAW AND A HOST OF NEPHEWS, NEICES, COURSINS, AND OTHER RELATIVES. Pastor, Officers, and Members of Beech Grove and St. Luke B.C. Neighboring churches and friends of the family are invited to the Home Going services on Friday, July 3, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Pilgrim-Calvary Baptist Church, 11453 La. 73, Geismar, La. 70734 the Reverend Dr. Irvin Briley is Host Pastor. Rev. Joseph Armstrong Pastor of the deceased Officiating. Reverend Darren R. Davis to perform Eulogy. Visitation is 10:00 A.M. until service time. Interment in First Pilgrim-Calvary cemetery.
