Leo H. Wilson, Jr. departed his life on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Leo entered this life on August 18, 1951. He will be greatly missed. He worked for Shell Capline in St. James, La. as an operator. Leo later gained employment with Carville Academy (Carville, La). Visitation at St. Landry United Methodist Church, 3209 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales, LA. Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00AM. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Lawson – Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Leo leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Brenda P. Wilson; one daughter Leah L. Mitchell, Gonzales, La.; and two sons Daniel Henderson (Nikki), Prairieville, La. and Darius L. Wilson (Aliska), Gonzales, La.; two step-children Leo Mitchell, Jr. (April), St. James, La; and Lakisha M. Honore (Elliot), Zachary, La.; ten (10) grandchildren; his father Leo H. Wilson, Sr., two sisters, Gwendolyn Washington and Shirley W. Lewis (Andrew) all of Gonzales, La.; one god-child Kirk Andre' Wilson, New Port Beach, CA.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Leo was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Bailey Wilson and two brothers Charles and Donald Bringier.
