Lincoln Edward "Doc" "Doctor Stiff" Polar, was born on February 12, 1956 in San Francisco, California to the late Elder Abraham and Evangelist Felinez Polar.

A Time to Plant

Lincoln gave his life to the Lord at an early age. Recognizing his musical gifts, Lincoln started playing the bass guitar. He also continued to acknowledge what God had given him by transitioning from mastering the bass guitar, to becoming a very talented keyboardist where he traveled accompanying many quartet groups and choirs.

A Time to Love

His life exemplified God's greatest commandment. The love of God was first and foremost in his life followed by the love for his family. He united in holy matrimony to Letitia Marie Briley on December 25, 1998.

A Time of Thanksgiving

Lincoln was a proud graduate of East Ascension High School and ITI Technical College. He also attended Southern University at Baton Rouge, LA. Vocationally, Lincoln would use his technical training at a variety of jobs, including; a Chemical Operator at Air Products, a skilled satellite and cable technician, and owner of Seal Tite Vaults and Monuments.

A Time to Die

Lincoln departed this life on Friday May 31, 2019 in Baton Rouge, LA. He was precede in death by his parents Abraham and Felinez, and 3 brothers; Walter Jackson Sr, and Leroy and O'Neal and LeRoy Polar

A Time for Peace

Lincoln leaves to cherish his memories and his legacy, his loving and devoted wife, Letitia Briley Polar, two brothers; Abraham Polar of Oakland, CA and Michael(tangy) Polar of Maurepas,LA, his mother-in-law, Ophelia Briley , Three sisters in law; Courtney Jackson, Lee Etta Polar, and Mary Franklin, three brother in laws; Charles, Michael, and Rev Dr. Irvin Briley, one god sister, Faye Earl, one god child, Adam Irvin, two devoted nieces, Monica Oatez and LaShawn Jackson, a host of friends including; Jill P. Edwards, Francis Allen Lee, Frank and Cynthia Moses, Willie Stewart, Terrell Nonette and Amos Favorite and two in whom he helped to rear, Porsche Darville and Dontae Jackson.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
