Linda Dianne Gabriel Polar transitioned to her heavenly home on October 20, 2014 at 8:30 pm at her residence in Maurepas, La. Linda was born to the union of the late Luther and Jessie Mae Landry Gabriel. She was baptized at an early age. Linda was united in holy matrimony to Michael Wayne Polar and to this union they were blessed with three sons. She leaves to cherish loving memories her husband, Michael W. Polar Sr. of Maurepas, La.; 3 sons, Michael Polar Jr., Jason and Stephen Polar, all of Maurepas; 3 grandchildren, Autumn, Malik and Xavier Polar; 4 brothers, Michael (Irma) Gabriel (Maurepas), Robert (Faye) and Alvin (late Irma Jean) Gabriel (Oakland, CA) and George (Myrtle) Gabriel (San Francisco, CA); 3 brothers-in-law, Abraham (Gwen), Lincoln (Letitia), and Leroy Polar; 2 sisters-in-law, Courtney Jackson and Lee Etta Polar; 2 God-children, Darlene Rheam Joiner and Tangi Rheams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Jessie Mae Gabriel and a sister, Irma Lee Harris. A funeral will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Third Zion Baptist Church Hwy 22 Maurepas, La. at 10:00 am.
