Margaret "Booie" Perkins, a native and resident of Darrow, Louisiana, departed this life on Monday, August 11, 2014, in Baton Rouge, LA, at the age of 93. "Booie," which her family and friends affectionately called her leave to cherish her memories; 5 sons and 5 daughters-in-law; Louis, Sr. (Donna), Lawrence, Sr. (Marie), Lucien "Troop" (Emelda), Dan, Jr. (Debbie), Carl (Libby), also a former daughter-in-law; Mary Ann Perkins. 4 daughters and 1 son-in-law; Barbara Watts (Eugene), Irma Brown, Linda P. Melton former son-in-law Jesse Melton, Albertine Conish. 46 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, 22 great-great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Viewing and religious service: a viewing on Sunday, August 17, 2014, from 5 pm - 9 pm and funeral service is Monday, August 18, 2014, at 11:00 am both at New St. Peter Baptist Church, 38422 Dennis Rd., Darrow, LA 70725.
