Marie Antoinette Russell was born June 8, 1961 to the late Selena Russell and Clarence Wenzy Sr. She departed this life on Monday January 9, 2023 at 10:43am at Gonzales Healthcare Center. She was baptized at an early age. She enjoyed spending time with family and was a generous and loving person who gave willingly and freely of herself. She leaves to cherish her memories her three brothers Ernest (Brenda) Russell of Gonzales, Michael Wenzy of Las Vegas, and Daryl Russell of Baton Rouge. 4 sisters Christine Russell of Baton Rouge, Lori (Raymond) Williams of Baton Rouge, Dorothy Raby of Prairieville, Lillian Wenzy of Gonzales. One uncle Lawrence Johnson Sr. of Sorrento, one aunt Lorina Russell of Kenner and a devoted niece Jessica Wenzy.

She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Wenzy, mother Selena Russell, one sister Vera Wenzy Russell, one aunt Vicktor Russell, two nieces Shannon Jackson and Shanell Wenzy, one brother Albert Russell.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
