Nevel Carson, Jr, a native and resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana departed his life June 7, 2021 at the age of 68.

Nevel Carson, Jr. was born to the late Nevel, Sr. and Mary Carson on August 19,1952. Nevel graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1972 and worked in the medical profession until his illness.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two loving sisters, Barbara Morgan and Marilyn Hicks; one devoted nephew, Kiley Kilbourne; three caring nieces: Keela (Eugene) Burdis, Keeda Hicks, and Diamond Hicks; and three great-nephews: Cameron Burdis, Chayson Burdis, and Karson Duncan.
