Parry Jean
Gallow
Oct 17, 1947 — Feb 10, 2023
On October 17, 1947, the sun rose in the city of Eunice, La to late Wesley Poullard and the late Rose Poullard as they welcomed Parry Jean Poullard.
Deaconess Parry Gallow, at an early age, became a member and was baptized at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Chataigner, La. Under the leadership of the late Pastor Isaac Fontenot, Sr. On October 24, 1964, she was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Wilson Gallow, Sr. From this union, they were blessed with six beautiful children. Then on October 25, 2014, after 50 years of marriage, they renewed their vows with family and friends. A true example of love.
Later in life, she became a founder and member of Word of Faith Full Gospel Church under the leadership of the late Archbishop Allen Celestine, Jr. She remained a member and deaconess, currently under the leadership of Pastor Adrian Thomas. On February 10, 2023, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La., Parry departed her earthly life and entered her eternal life.
Deaconess Parry served her church faithfully. She has a gift for cooking and baking pies and didn't mind feeding everyone. She took great care of the late Archbishop and his wife and Co-Pastor. She made sure they were good whether it was a full course meal or a brunch. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, was never disappointed. She had an awesome sense of humor as she enjoyed life and had love for everyone. She was willing to assist anyone in need. Most of all, she loved her children and extended family.
For now, Deaconess Parry leaves to cherish the beautiful memories of her life; her husband of 58 years, Wilson Gallow, Sr. of Chataigner, La., her children: Judy Fontenot of Ville Plate, La., Velma Jack (Andre') of Baton Rouge, La., Pastor Wilson Gallow Jr. (Tammy) of Baton Rouge, La., WillTee Eric Gallow (Monique) of Mamou, La., Pamela Gallow of Grand Prairie, La., Alce Gallow (Tameka) of Baton Rouge, La., one brother, Larry (Linda) Poullard, two sisters: Rose Poullard and Evelyn (Sydney) Gallow, twenty-three (23) grandchildren; thirty-five (35) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; Wesley and Rose Poullard, three (3) brothers; Clarence, Lawrence, and Weston Poullard, two (2) sisters; Geneva Poullard and Lee Ester Brown, one (1) grandson; Malachi Semien and one (1) great grandson; Owen Malachi Thomas.
