Mr. Philip Stephens Jr. a native of Burnside LA and a resident of Darrow LA. He was called to his final home on August 18, 2022, at OLOL hospital. Mr. Stephens was survived by his 7 children Jarvis Stephens (Lysandra), Racco Adeyemi, Darren Smylie Sr. (Shelia), Eva Smylie, Vernice Smylie, Lori Ann Smylie, and Hania Batiste. He also leaves behind his grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his late wife Geraldine C. Stephens, his parents Philip Sr and Sophie Stephens, and his son Terry Randell Stephens. Visitation will be helped on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church Pastor Sidney J Tobias 38584 LA 22 in Darrow LA. Services will be held on Saturday at Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church on August 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM after visitation. The burial site will be at Hopeful Triumph Cemetery.
