Obituary

Our dear mother Phyllis Williams sadly passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age 65. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of her community and profession. She was predeceased by her mother Earline Barney Williams and fathers Earl Farlough Sr. and Robert Williams and is survived by her nine children, Jennifer Williams-Hayes, Felicia Williams, Yakisha Williams-Hughes, Nakeyia Williams, Brandon Williams, Bryan Williams, Brittney Williams, Bianca Williams and Alyssa Alexis;

Grandchildren: Dorian, Jasmine, Diamond, Kiera, Kyla, Brandon Jr., Brayden, Emery, Phyllip, and Samaa; and

Great-grandchildren: Kendall, Michael III, J'Marcus Jr., Kennedy, Reagan, D'Lani, D'moni, Amari, Kylie, Kylon, Ke'Vonte, Zyre, and Lovely, and her sister Karen Ann Williams along with a host of other cousins, nieces and nephews.

For over 20 years she dedicated herself to working with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services where she valiantly found to help people. She a compassionate and dedicated attorney, going above and beyond the call of duty to represent her clients. She was also a proud member of First Community Antioch Baptist Church in Paulina, Louisiana and a devout Christian. Phyllis is now at peace in the hands of the Lord.

A memorial service will be held at Life Cathedral Worship Center located at 2103 S. Phillippe Ave., Gonzales, Louisiana on Saturay, January 28, 2023 at 1pm. A repast will immediately follow.
