Renee Moncrief Lewis (57) a native and resident to Darrow, LA, passed away September 22,2023 at her home. Visitation will be held on the 30th of September at 12 o'clock PM at First Mount Olive Baptist Church, 4396 Highway 75 Geismar, La 70734. Service will begin at 1 o'clock PM, Pastor Sylvia Burnett-Payton officiating. Burial will follow in Von Hoff Cemetery. Renee is survived by her spouse Melvin Lewis Jr, two sons Jermoine and Jonavon Lewis, one daughter Te'Quina Jones, two granddaughters Elliana Jones and Kenzie Lewis, one Aunt Elma Lee Stewart, two sisters, three brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Renee was preceded in death by her parents James Moncrief & Golena Prestly, one brother Dontrell Moncrief, one niece Tyashia Perkins, one nephew Louis Perkins III, Grandparents Alvin & Earline Prestly and Bessie Moncrief, five aunts, and six uncles.
