Robert Charles "Rusty" Ricks, Jr., 42 yrs. old a native and resident of Gonzales, La. passed away on October 31, 2021, at his residence. He was baptized by Pastor Clarence Alvis at Jeremiah Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He was a graduate of East Ascension High School class of 1999.

Rusty is survived by his mother, Deborah Andrews Ricks, his father, Robert C. Ricks, Sr., siblings, LaSondra Andrews, Kisha Ricks, Ashley Ricks Sanders and Roderick Ricks. niece Alaw'ryen Sanders, nephews Ethan Lucas, Jayden Ricks and Zidan Ricks. adopted brother and personal caretaker Ronell Ricks. Aunts and uncles Gloria Bailey, Doris Hendricks, Gerri Carter, Shelia (Darin) Smiley, Brenda (Darrel) Aikens, Sherrl Andrews, Katherine Bennett, Tammy (Dusty) Dandridge, Linda (Malcom) Duplush, Deanna Ricks, JoAnn Williams, Dwayne Andrews, Craig (Kim) Andrews, Roosevelt Jr. (Pam) Andrews, Neil (Daphne) Andrews. God-Children Delesha, Linda and Miguel Ricks. Many cousins and numerous friends.
