Rosa Lee Scott was born March 23, 1947 to the parentage of Oscar Scott Sr. and Mariah Milton. She departed this life in the comfort of her home in Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, February 16 ^th , 2023.  She was 75 years old. She attended school in Convent, La. and was baptized at an early age at St. James United Methodist Church of Convent, La. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Rosa Lee leaves to cherish her precious memories: a devoted friend Lionel Williams, three daughters, Melissa (John) Scott and Catina Scott, both of Baton Rouge, La. and Denise (Keith) Gordon, Darrow, La., thirteen (13) grandchildren, Johnika Scott, Jarra Scott, DeJohn Scott, Dante Scott, Jarranika Scott, Jelette Scott, Quanmine Scott, Jaquilla Scott, Jakilla Scott, Earl Hamilton, Jr., Janorsha Scott, Joseph Scott, Jernell Scott, twenty-nine (29) great grandchildren, three sisters: Clover Lucas, Linda (Michael) Jones both of Convent, La., Arlyn Taylor, Gonzales, LA; three brothers: Lawrence (Albertine) Scott of Convent, La., Bobby (Lisa) Milton, of Gramercy, La., and Kerry (Manette) Scott of Gonzales, La., two brother -in-laws, two devoted friends Pamela Bassett and Alfred Stewart a nd a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rosa Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Mariah Milton and Oscar Scott, Sr., five sisters, two brothers, nieces, nephews and other family members.
