Rosemary Johnson was born in White Castle Louisiana to the union of Mark and Elouise Bennett . She was married to the late Hyson (Dubby) Johnson of Prairieville, Louisiana to this union 5 Girls was born. She "cherished" family and made sure each of them knew they had a special place in her heart. Rosemary's door and heart was always open, she never met a stranger. Rosemary was baptized at the age of 10 as one of Jehovah Witnesses and tried hard to take sides with Jehovah God.

She leaves to cherish her memory four (4) daughters: Brenda Payton (Edell), Veronica Williams (Dock ), Bridgett Stewart (Reginald), and Freda Kay Carter; five (5) sisters and three (3) brothers: Pearl Dunbar, Robert Williams, George Jones, Ethel Mae (Johnnie Combs), Gloria Mae Cooper, Eugene Williams, Mary Ann Joseph, Martha , (Jewel Stewart,) Terry Williams, Georgiana Williams; fourteen (14) grandchildren: Ieshia Payton , Carmisha Payton,  Amberly Bennett , Abby  Buffert, Victoria Carter, Craig Carter, Jr., Justin Bennett, Eric Bennett, Clarence Williams, Fayth Stewart, Joi Stewart, Darien Bennett, Dorian Davis , Dontae Bennett; nine (9) great-grandkids: Braylen Payton, Blake Payton, Jaylynn Shampine, McKinley Augulirad, Lakira Stevenson, Lonndyn Duhone, A'Jnea Scott, Ambreon Bennett, Jaden V Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Hyson "Dubby" Johnson, daughter: Regina Davis, parents: Mark Bennett and Elouise Williams,  two (2) sisters: Elouise Bennett and Sylvia Brown; brother Gary Williams; grandchild: Reginald Stewart Jr. (RJ); great- grandchildren: Jordan Bennett; and dearest friend Katie Scott.
