Sanders Lodge Jr., 84, a native and resident of St. Gabriel Louisiana, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. A private visitation will be at 10am on Friday, May 29, 2020 at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, St. Gabriel. A private graveside service will follow, Bishop Elder Eugene Harris officiating.

Survived by one son, Patrick (Zelda) Lodge; two daughters, Perry L. Triplett and Sandra M. Lodge; one adopted daughter, Ma'Kency Lodge; one brother, Melvin (Berda) Lodge; four sisters-in-law, Jeanell Smith, Bernice Lodge, Pearl Green, Florence Smith; four grandchildren, Ronnie (Dynasty) Lodge, Alisha Lodge, Indianna Lodge and Briona (Quincy) Turner; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley M. Lodge; father and mother, Sanders Lodge Sr. and Rebecca Lodge; four brothers, Frank Lodge, Freddie Lodge, Edward Lodge and Joseph Lodge.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love shown to them during their moment of bereavement. No act of kindness has gone unnoticed, and a more formal thank you will be done at a later date.
