Shanel Marie Brown, a native of Geismar, La., a resident of Gonzales, La. She died on December 10, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. She was 45. A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Iberville Christian Center, 4070 Hwy 30, St. Gabriel, La. from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the church; Rev. Dr. Terry M. Hasten officiating. Burial will be in First Pilgrim Calvary MBC, campus #1 in Geismar. She is survived by her loving husband, Philip Brown and mother, Joyce A. Parms and a host of other relatives and friends.
