Shirley Jean "Katie" Andrews Fenderson, 79, a native of Hillaryville, La. and a resident of Los Angeles, California, passed away August 18, 2025 at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles California. Visitation will be held at The Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church 38584 Hwy 22 Darrow, La. 70725 Viewing from 9am-11am. Service will begin at 11am, Dr. Sidney J. Tobias Jr. Officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church Cemetery Troop Phillip Road Darrow, La.  Survived by 3 grandchildren, Shauntanae Priestly, Gary Mobley and Darryion Mobley. 2 great grandchildren Brandon and Corey Mobley. 4 sisters, Nora Andrews, Margaret White, Genevieve White and Joan Andrews. 1 brother, James White. 1 brother in law, Albert Irvin Jr. Preceded in death by her husband Herbert Fenderson, Her Mother and step-father, Millie Andrews White and Rev. Doran White. 2 step- children Ramona Fenderson and Nathaniel Fenderson and 1 sister Ella Andrews Irvin.
