Simon Peter Bennett Jr, affectionately known as Pete, was born on October 22,1964 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, La to Simon Bennett Sr and Dorothy Mae Bennett. He made his triumph departure on Monday May 23, 2016 in Jonesborro, La.

Simon was raised in Crown Point and later resided in Marrero and Westwego. He attended school in Jefferson Parish, later acquiring welding skills. He also accepted the lord as his personal savior. He loved his life and his family and always showed a smile.
